Who’s this for?
Anyone interested in business and inspiring stories.
What’s it about?
Creativity, Inc. tells the story of one of the world’s most beloved film production studios – Pixar Animation Studios. Founded by Ed Catmull, John Lasseter and Apple’s Steve Jobs, Pixar has grown to become the most successful computer-animated film studio. This book takes you back to 9 years before the release of Toy Story, Pixar’s first feature film, when the company’s founders were meeting for the first time. It tells of their partnership with George Lucas and the trials and tribulations that led to their success. If you’re interested for yourself, I would highly recommend the audiobook version of this. Narrated by co-founder Ed Catmull himself, it often feels right at home with Pixar’s own storytelling in their films.
Where can I find it?
